Welcome back to Yoga that Feeds!
Every Friday at 10 am CST, we’ll join together for a live-streamed yoga class, then the replay will be posted here on the site. Wanna join us live? Sign up here to get all the info you need.
Each month we partner with a different nonprofit in the hopes of spreading some light & love across the world. 50% of all the proceeds collected will be donated to our nonprofit of the month.
This month, we’re raising money for the Harriet Tubman Charter School’s Enrichment Program. The enrichment program prioritizes creative expression and big-picture learning for kids. Your donations will help the school purchase yoga mats, musical instruments, art supplies and other program supplies.
If you enjoy this class, and want to support nourished minds and bodies, please consider donating what you can!
Watching after May 2020? Your donations are still going to support someone in need! Check out who we’re working with this month on the Yoga that Feeds homepage.
This week, we’re celebrating a Full Moon in Scorpio! A combination of Moon Salutation, arm balances and deep hip openers leave you feeling luminous and ready to celebrate a job well done!
Vinyasa yoga in a dynamic blend of movement and breath. Expect to get your blood flowing & body moving. We’ll start by centering through our breath, doing a few short standing sequences, then settling in to a restorative and nourishing close.
If you’re new to yoga, remember that the most important thing is to stay focused on your breath. Don’t worry if you don’t get all the poses correctly or if you need to take a break. Be patient with yourself, do what you can and remember to relax.
