My herbal bath salts each serve a distinct purpose, and are perfectly portioned for a gloriously relaxing night in.
My base recipe includes organic, pure grade Epsom salt and Himalayan salt. From there, I craft the recipe for specific physical and magical needs. All my herbs and oils are sourced locally in New Orleans.
The muscle relief recipe uses herbs that target both surface level and deep-down aches and pains. Chamomile is a natural sedative that decreases anxiety and promotes deep, restful sleep. Comfrey relieves muscle aches and pains by reducing inflammation. Homemade chamomile oil and peppermint essential oil top it off for a relaxing scent and an all-around body reliever.
To Use: Shake half the jar in to the running water of a bath. Or, mix into a bowl of hot water. Soak a towel in the bowl then make a compress for any aching areas of the body.
Ingredients: Organic chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile), organic comfrey (Symphytum officinale), homemade infused chamomile oil (chamomile and olive oil), essential oils of peppermint and rosemary
