Hey there, lovely souls! Sierra here, and today I’m going to get real with you about something that might sound a bit counterintuitive coming from a yoga and mindfulness teacher like me—I’ve always been pretty terrible at sticking to strict routines. I mean, seriously, when I was younger, I couldn’t even manage to brush my teeth regularly. Gross, right? But the idea of doing the same thing every day just never really appealed to me. Maybe that’s why, for a while, I fully embraced the digital nomad life, living out of a converted van and chasing adventure wherever it led me.
Every now and then, I’d experience a burst of inspiration and vow to follow a new “life-hacking routine” religiously. But more often than not, frustration would kick in, and I’d end up dropping it like a hot potato. Sound familiar? It’s like I was swinging from one extreme to another!
We’ve all heard that consistency is the key, but I believe that, especially for intuitive and creative women like me (and perhaps you too), consistency can feel like a creativity killer. It implies pushing forward even when your body and soul are whispering that they want something different.
