I’m not here to tell anyone how they should feel or should react to what’s going on. As a spiritual teacher I often feel the weight of collective grief so strongly. And when I’m not sure how to help – it’s disheartening.
I’m not going to pretend like I have any say in this fight. I can’t act like I know how to make it “better.”
But I can support. I can listen. I can try to live in UNION with the greatest good for all. And so can you.
What I DO ask is for you to open your hearts to receptivity and let go of resistance. This is where we can find a sense of unity with each other.
What is union?
Union is the harmony & balance between two sides. Union is the ability of opposing forces to life each other up. Union is working towards a common goal. Union is knowing where you lack and making a conscious effort to shift back towards balance.
Union is partnership. Union is equality. Union is the center.
How do we find union? What stands in our way?
We find union by getting real with ourselves : where we’re overstepping, where we’re lacking & where we’re avoiding. Finding union requires us to balance our shadows with light. Union requires us to dig our heads from the sand and open our eyes. Union comes when we quit resisting our spaces of fear & shame then turn them back towards love.
Union is the simple beauty of a flower’s bloom with the intricate stability of ancient roots. Union is a calm water’s surface with the sleeping potential of mountainous waves. Union is the ability to honor your own peace, while standing firmly for you brother’s freedom.
Union is the capability of everyone. Union is the natural & desired state of our hearts. Union is our truth.
This is a call for unity.
This quick 10 minute meditation will get you in to your heart, and help you turn your fears towards love.
Ask yourself how you can live in union with the greatest good for all.
Get yourself in a comfortable seated position where you can be relatively undisturbed, close your eyes, and tune in.
